The Spirit of Resilience and It's Beauty!!

This is my first post in a really long time! I heard a saying earlier today " That life's tragedy is sometimes your welcoming to a new beginning"! I was watching 20/20 tonight and I got a chance to peer into the life and story of Katie Piper .

This was a story of both tragedy and TRIUMPH! She met a man on Face book and after they started talking and dating for awhile. He held her hostage and raped her over and over until she talked him into letting her go. She ended the affair with him and he promised that it wasn't over. He then hired an attacker to throw sulfuric Acid in her face! They attempted and accomplished their goal, Her head and face was so badly burned she was in a Coma for a month or so. She felt like she lost everything! She once was a beautiful supermodel and now she felt monstrous and even though she thought this she inspired many through her story. She showed what true beauty is and that truly beauty is only skin deep. I decided to use this story because this story is one of that shows how Strong the Human Soul truly is; It shows "How great is she that believes"! When life throws its twists and turns; you have to get back up and dust yourself off. Know that things we go through all though they may seem trivial to most that you can handle anything that is shown and put in front of you!!! Know that YOU are STRONG and although You may Not BE INVINCIBLE...You still HAVE THE RESILIENCE TO CONQUER all of your enemies both literal, Internal and External.

By It's Cover!

The Last Couple of days have been Eye Opening for me! I have been blessed to see and hear things that I never have seen or heard before. I thank that to the Wisdom that I have asked God to give me.

Today I watched a Video on Britain Idol I came across it randomly and It was an Introduction into Susan Boyle and I could have sworn I heard that name before. Anyway, It was an introduction into what we would now hear as one of the most beautiful voices that we hear today or for that matter in along time. Raw and True Talent!

As she walked on Stage you see the looks on Simon Cowell and The other 2 judges faces as well as the faces of her peers and their is look of doubt and disdain. They are looking at her with eyes of judgement and that look of how could she possibly dare to walk on stage.

If you haven't seen her; Go and Google her name Susan Boyle She is covered with the Greatness in God. All of us have this Greatness; in previous Blogs I have written about it. If We Just Believe it we can Achieve it. She gets on stage and she is introducing herself and Simon Cowell asks " What is your age?" "Where are you from?" "What is your name" She gives all that information in even throws in a little of her personality in there by Gyrating her hips and the other judge just looks at her with a look of disgust and then the music starts and suddenly what didn't look so good to them became Beauty in it's rarest Form. I never cry when people sing! Unless of course it's a Gospel song and it's tugging at the heart strings. This voice was different it was like God was speaking to the world thru her voice. I wrote this blog today because I wanted to get into the mind of my readers. You are never supposed to judge a book by it's cover!!! Why because you never know what you are gonna get when you take the time to open that book . I cried because It was one of the most beautiful things I heard besides my little girl telling me she loved me for the first time.

We come in contact with beauty in its rarest forms everyday but because we are in such a rush we miss it or We aren't familiar with different forms of beauty we miss out on something really good because we are waiting on Mr.Don Juan or Ms. Tyra banks or the perfect moment. In All Honesty You have to create that energy so the perfect moment and Your Mr. Right Or Ms. Right can come to you. Beauty comes in many different shapes, Sizes and forms. I wrote about this in yesterdays blog. We miss out alot of Unconditional love as well as AWESOME experiences because what we are looking for doesn't always come in the package we want it to come in and then for one second we don't stop to think was this the answer I was looking for?

So I challenge YOU including myself to Stop and don't judge right away. Give in and Give a Chance so we won't miss out on the Beauty God is Revealing to us each and every moment Because we are all Flowers waiting to Bloom!!!

Human Soul and It's Resilience

Today Marks the First day that I have written anything in a couple of weeks. I took a break for a moment because I had to get myself together. I made a move to Brooklyn, NY and I am loving every moment of this New State and New City. The people, places and experiences are all so beautiful. Today I woke up and I had a chance to view the world ONCE again and I am Grateful for that!

I ran across this article on AOL: which was talking about Chaz and Roger Ebert. How Chaz Ebert who is Roger Ebert's Wife has this strength about her that is unimaginable. The article talks about the dynamic they share and the resilience of their relationship and all the things that they have been thru together. I had a chance to peer into the Human soul and I wanted to say that everyday we get a chance to peer into the HUMAN soul if we allow ourselves to open up and be free of judgements. Although sometimes we all have our preconceived notions of one another. We can't be open to others if we are closed to sharing and getting to know each and every fellow HUMAN BEING. I cried because The LOVE That she has for this man and he has for her is truly unconditional and how many times do we cross paths with people that LOVE us unconditionally and if we do how many of us have lost it because it didn't come in the package we would like it to come in???? The Human Soul is resilient...Each and Every one of us is RESILIENT!!! Some of us are more tapped into this ability than others. You know you have resilience when you don't take JUST ANYTHING lying DOWN!!! You fight for what you want and you go after it. Some of US have to be pushed into seeing this and believing this!! I want everyone that comes across this ARTICLE to take a look into themselves and think about all the things that we have been through and think about the outcome and how you HAVE RISEN from these circumstances. THE Human Soul is Resilient and They are Resilient!!! I was floored to see that they both had these qualities amidst all the challenges they have been thru and I Salute THE DIVINITY in THEM!!!

You are No Ones Fool!

April 1st is the time of year when everyone has a joke or two up their sleeves. Hoping to catch you and say April Fools. My first thought with this one was: I'm no ones Aprils Fool!!!

Trickery is the main source of leading everyone down the path of negativity. If they pull the trick off then you either laugh about it (if you have a great sense of humor) or if you allow it; It just may ruin your day!

So This April's Fool Day I invite you not to the play the fool to trickery and deceit. Use your OWN mind and allow your own level of consciousness to be awake!!!

The Day You Were Born!!!

Each and every day someone on this planet has a birthday! How you celebrate it is entirely up to you! When you were molded by each atom and part; You were made DIVINELY and EXQUISTELY!!! You were made to reach your highest potential. It is no accident that you were given the family you were given, or live where you live, or have experienced what you have! On the day you were born the world smiled!! You were created to make something wonderful happen in this world; Not to just take up space!

With each year that we celebrate a new birthday! We experience change; Evolutionary Change. You learn something NEW, someone either leaves or enters you life, You become Wiser,Smarter and Centered!!!

Today is the Day I was born and As I celebrate this birthday Feeling Absolutely MAGNIFICENT! I invite you to feel the same way whether today is the day you were born or not. Enjoy everyday knowing that You WERE MADE TO BE GREAT and that YOU TOO ARE SPECIAL!!!

Moving Forward!

I SALUTE THE DIVINITY IN ALL OF YOU!!!!
I was M.I.A for the past weekend. Working hard and Definitely feeling every last movement. Which is great! I wanted to tell you; You are LOVED and You are GREAT!
Sometimes we let life throw us around and WE feel like all our HARDWORK goes without appreciation or Recognition! However, It Doesnt!!! The world sees and hears The Harmony of Your Song. Your movements, the way you think and the all that you do are never without Notice!

When I work hard; I feel great! I recently made a job change and I was wondering and complaining to myself. Why didnt I get the job I orignially applied for? I was quite upset because I really did want that BEAUTIFUL 9-5 schedule. I moaned and complained quietly to myself. Although I blog on being positve and motivated even I have my moments. I always remember tho to be thankful and remember to to be positive! With This Blog I hope I continue to teach everyone to be brave and Remember that you can have anything your HEART DESIRES with a little effort. It's About Reprogramming the mind to be in a constant state of awareness as to program ourselves for POSITIVITY and LOVE

So back to what I was saying, I was so worried I wouldnt get the job that I didnt think about the possibility of another OPPORTUNITY!!! I have been in Sales and Customer Service for over 15 years. Oh Lawd now yall know my age ;)! Anyway, I have been trying to redirect my career or to put this in the simplest form get out of Sales and Customer Service for whatever reason! It is by Divine Destiny or right I am here. I eventually after the great phone conversation I had with the VP of Sales. That I was notified that they wanted to make an offer of employment as a Dedicated/Sales and Service Rep! They were offering exactly what I asked for "In My Mind"!! The one thing I complained about was the Hours Tues-Saturday 10am-7pm. Then the little voice of Reason, The same one I am telling you the reason that all of "Our" Lives are either in Shambles or Success was talking to me. Telling me how beautifully I was created and That This is my Divine Position that I have been waiting for!

So with that being said, Sometimes we think what we do goes unnoticed. I am hear to tell you today as a WITNESS! Whatever you do whether good or bad will never go unnoticed. That is why It is up to you! To enjoy your Perfect Life by Divine right! To Enjoy and be appreciative that "We" wake up in our right minds although sometimes some of us would beg to differ ;)! Life is covered and filled with beauty and to see or not to see it comes from you being able to tweak the state of where your mind is. Life is No Mere Coincidence Everything that Happens to you is in direct correlation to what we have breathed, Thought and Spoke!!!

Waking Up with A Good Morning

Everyday is a Good Day Right?.......WRONG Or Is IT? First Things First You determine the outcome of your day!

When we run into a day where it seems like things are gonna go haywire,down the train or it seems its just gonna be a bad day! Did you know that those days come from times where you were just negative; thinking or being it doesn't matter. Those days come from the vibration you have put out in the world. "We" need to make a choice to change our vibration! I know it isn't easy but its a must! Changing your vibration starts with a thought. Say to yourself when you wake up in the morning this is gonna be an AWESOME day! At first it might seem a little silly but you wait and see the how your positive vibration will alter your day and with enough positive thoughts and actions IT CAN ALTER YOUR LIFE!!!

So I challenge you today it's not to late to Change your vibration. To accept that starting today you have a choice to change your day, your afternoon, your evening and even your LIFE!!!

Start Today and Change your Vibration; Be actively positive and watch the world around you change!!!

Fighting For What you Want!

In life you have got to fight for what YOU want out of LIFE and realize that the only person getting in your way is YOU!!! I realized that some time you have to let go and Let God. We have people in our lives that are very much apart of who we are but when they stagnate us and keep us from growing we have to bid them farewell.


As I always tell my daughter when it comes to friends and people we meet sometimes people come into your life for a reason, a season and a time. We have to love ourselves enough to realize that if that person is keeping you from your potential than you need to learn how to let go. Sometimes its apart of ourselves that we to have to let go! Albeit not easy at times, Old ways die out so new things can about! Changing isn't easy but it is NECESSARY! It is Necessary so "We" and Yes, I'm talking to "You" the reader can reach our fullest potential that is meant for us in this LIFE!!!

I will end this short yet simple and sweet Blog by Saying this! I quoted this from Ralph Waldo Emerson: "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us"!
